Palm Desktop --> Google (and Yahoo?) with Mozilla

prepare Palm Desktop data:

delete obsolete contacts
decrease contact groups (e.g. from 15 to 10)
label repeating calendar events (until sync bug(s) are fixed)

export Palm Desktop data:

(each group of) contacts to \Group-N-from-Palm.vcf
YYYY-from-Palm.dba
Memos (in all possible formats, to be safe)
Tasks (in all possible formats, to be safe)

(obsoleted by Google Contacts) Yahoo Contacts (imported ~90%)

erase (30 sec)
import \Group-N-from-Palm.vcf
export \temp\yahoo_ab.ldif (to Thunderbird Address Book)
export \contacts-from-Yahoo.csv (30 sec)

erase
import \YYYY-from-Palm.dba
export \YYYY-from-Yahoo.csv
delete (pre-1972) rows (artifact from Treo or Palm Desktop) in Excel

Google Contacts

erase first?
import \Group-N-from-Palm.vcf
manually edit any contact's Note truncated at '='
Export to Yahoo Calendar?
Sync with Thunderbird Address Book using Google Contacts Add-on and

Interactive (this currently works only Google-->TBird, and not v.v.)
Convert / Use Line Break
Reload Every 2 hours
Delete from Mapped Group

Google Calendar

(Settings, Calendar) erase
import \YYYY-from-Yahoo.csv (until iPhone sync is running)
Sync with phone using Google Sync
